This site is small and so is this page. We do not sell anything here, we do not run accounts, and we ask for nothing about you. The only thing worth explaining is the measurement, and you control it.
Who we are
amoni is the restaurant of Espera Suites, at Kalamitsi, 840 04 Kimolos, Greece. We are the controller of the data described here. You can reach us at amoni@esperasuites.com or +30 22874 40010.
What we do not do
There is no account to create, no newsletter, no contact form and no payment on this site. When you reserve a table you leave this site for our booking provider, and when you call us you are on the telephone — neither is covered by this page.
Cookies
Nothing is stored until you agree. On your first visit the site asks, and until you accept, no cookie is set at all. If you accept, Google Analytics sets two:
The site also keeps two things in your browser's own storage, which never leave your device and are never sent to us or anyone else: amoni-lang, remembering whether you chose English or Greek, and amoni-consent, remembering the choice you made here. Both are necessary for the site to honour your preferences, so they are not part of the choice.
What the measurement records
If you accept, Google Analytics records which pages you read and a small number of actions: clicking through to reserve a table, tapping the phone number, opening directions, switching language, reaching the end of the menu or wine list, and landing on a page that does not exist. Each is recorded with which part of the page it happened in and which language you were reading. We use this to see whether people find what they came for, and whether our advertising brings anyone who tries to book.
We do not know who you are from any of this, and we never try to find out.
Who receives it
Google Ireland Limited, and Google LLC in the United States, as our analytics provider. That means your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Google's standard contractual clauses. If you refuse, no such transfer takes place.
How long it is kept
Analytics data is deleted automatically by Google after at most fourteen months. Our hosting provider also keeps ordinary web server logs, including IP addresses, for a short period for security and troubleshooting; that is not part of the analytics and rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the site running rather than on your consent.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and it takes effect immediately. Withdrawing does not affect anything already collected.
If you have already accepted and want the cookies gone as well, clearing cookies for this site in your browser removes them.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or erase it, object to it being processed, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to amoni@esperasuites.com and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, dpa.gr.
